What do you mean TVH doesn't have specialists? I just went to one of their specialists a week ago and will be going back at the end of the month. |

Also, the specialists accept medicare and supplemental, I know I use 1 or 2 of them but I am not in the UHC ADVANTAGE plans.
Now to the more important questions, what is the source of this report?

Right, what is it? I googled and the only thing I found with that name is an eye practice in Summerfield. |

ooops. I googled it too and found the same last night. It is an eye center not related to The Villages Health Care at all or to the Villages Inc.

I googled Villages Health CEO resigns and the only result that matched the search topic was a story in the Orlando Sentinel from 2011. I've been posting on message boards since 1995 and it's common practice to post a link to any story, facts, updates or supporting information when posting a substantial news story. I propose the TOTV mods should contact the OP and let them know they've been suspended from this site until they can provide supporting facts and links to their claims.
Chief of Leesburg Regional and Villages hospitals resigns April 28, 2011 By Martin E. Comas, ORLANDO SENTINEL LEESBURG — The parent company of Leesburg Regional Medical Center and The Villages Health System is looking for a new leader. Lee Huntley resigned this week as president and chief executive officer of the Central Florida Health Alliance. He has served in those positions since March 2008. Huntley will remain at the alliance until the end of May, while the organization moves to hire someone for the position, according to a written statement from Dr. David Sustarsic, chairman of the alliance board. Huntley did not return messages seeking comment. The alliance's 16-member board of directors received Huntley's resignation at a meeting Monday night, said Diane Maimone, associate vice president for marketing and public relations. She said it was an amicable decision. "He is pursuing other professional opportunities," Maimone said without elaborating... |

I checked the posts of the OP as well and most ALL of them have to do with pain issues. I'm wondering if this person is new to the area on one hand and on another needs to find a primary who can help her (I'm assuming it's a "she" due to her moniker)...find what she's looking for. What her post here is----sounds like more of a rumor OR old info. as someone else stated here.

What/who is meant by "Villages CEO"? And why no response from the OP? Questionable post, IMO.

the original post says " the villages surgery center is closing down" ... there was nothing said about the villages specialty health closing down. please read carefully and do your due diligence to see the truth to this post.
