Default Who is cheapest doctor to use to get a Medical Marijuana license / prescription?

I've decided to see a doctor so that I can get a medical marijuana prescription.

I've been told the price area doctors charge for office visits related to this is $100-$200, does anyone know the cheapest place to go to get this?

I used a place right next to Trulieve on 441. The initial visit was a couple hundred. The money grab that follows was absolutely ridiculous. They wanted you to get a new prescription every 6 months, then there's the cost of the license from the state that has to be renewed every year.
I found the whole thing to be a big, fat waste of time and money.
Maybe things have changed, as this was 4-5 years ago, but I let my license lapse after 1 year. Switched to Delta 8 which can be purchased legally and it worked just as well as the "medical" stuff.

I haven't found any. Sadly. Hopefully, it will be made legal soon.

If it were to be legalized you would not need to see a Dr.

The entire process is a scam and a ripoff. The doctors and the state are making money, but they are providing no effective screening of patients.

What makes you think that - oh wait, maybe that is what the receptionist meant when I asked if I get my fee back if I don't qualify, and she replied with a smile, EVERYONE qualifies.

that's the place i use, & yes, it's costly, but @ this point i'm too old to get busted. a friend was using a place much more expensive, so it is what it is. for me i have the added security of a valid card & less worry over legal consequences should any arise

Do you not have a regular doctor. I could probably get one for my health but have no desire. Have never used it for anything.

There are only a few trained doctors who are authorized by the state to approve your application for a medical marijuana license. Most doctors who actually treat patients do not do marijuana approvals. There is no prescription involved. They approve you for a Florida marijuana license and then you go to a state approved dispensary to buy the marijuana. The approval process is a joke because everyone who applies and pays the money will get approved.

my guy by trade is a vascular surgeon out of Boston, who suffers diabetic neuropathy. medical thc/cbd has allowed him to continue treating patients. he feels he is advancing the medical benefits for those like himself who can't take stuff like Neurontin, which WILL make you a zombie & lie in bed all day. not every drug is for every person, it's just great to have the option

The cost is about $150 for the first doctor appointment, plus $75 for the state license, plus another $75 for a follow-up appointment in 6 months, so about $300 for a year. Then, you need to start all over because the license expires in a year.

I get mine in DC. I pay 75 bucks for a pencil and get a free gift of THC. That's how they get around the illegality of selling it.
