I've a family member visiting who has a severe disease and uses medical marijuana, but it can't be transported across state lines. So she's here visiting and she's extremely ill. Any suggestions?

I have no idea but if you google marijuana dispensaries you will find a list:
Trulieve - The Villages, FL Marijuana Dispensary | Weedmaps The above serves The Villages -- they are open today until 5 -- you should call and ask if out-of-state medical marijuana cards are accepted - or just simply explain the situation and see what they suggest. Hope this helps

You need to have a card first of all...and not sure if a card goes from state to state. You can call the dispensories here and ask them what she can do.

To the best of my knowledge, medical marijuana cards are issued by the state one resides in, if that state is one where MM is legal. I don't think states have reciprocal agreements to honor MM cards issued from another state, but I hope that I am wrong? Federal laws do nothing to help the situation, actually the opposite, federal laws make MM very difficult since they do not ledgitimize MM in any way, and the FDA, which approves R/X scripts, is a federal agency. Sorry I don't have a better answer to your question, but the current situation is not optimal. As us older people get replaced with the younger generation, which is more open to the benefits of MM, things will eventually change. But in the mean time, access to a very legitimate treatment option for many things is only available from the black market in many states. Unfortunately, the black market is geared toward recreational use and does not provide products that benefit most people with a real MM need. As I always say, follow the $$$ to find the truth. The biggest funders against MM are the pharmaceutical companies, and the biggest funders against recreational marijuana is the alcohol industry. Read between those lines!

There’s many kinds of medical marijuana uses, is the family member smoking bud or using CBD oil with THC, vaping or using edibles?

Any cannabis product containing THC purchased legally in FL comes from a dispensary sanctioned by the state. FL has no MM reciprocity with any other state. CBD oil is available to anyone, although if not puchased from a dispensary, it is not sourced from Cannabis Sativa or Indica, but more likely the hemp plant. Effectiveness of hemp-derived CBD is quite questionable.
One must show FL residency proof (among other requirements) to obtain a FL MM card, which allows one to purchase from a FL dispensary. |

most any kind with THC would do. she uses Marinol here (Rx imitation) but it doesn't work. No, the states are not reciprocal, what I need is some smokable weed - a spoonful even. Just a bit. She's incredibly ill as we speak.

Ask a cab driver or a bartender.

Is there anywhere in TVs that sell CBD oil?

OK, so other than a cabbie or bartender, both of which are illegal, there's not a simple answer. Recreational marijuana would do it.
