What sporting and concert event?

All sporting events.....baseball, basketball, football to name three.
All concerts.....every one of them.

Social distancing is what I would like to see at all these events. Don't know how that is possible though.

Tonight in Brownwood, bluefin, city fire, all had tables space out 6 ft. There were chairs at the bar chairs spaced out can’t be moved. This is the 5 day I have eaten out, and watched the social distance restaurants are following. Actually watched a person taking pictures, walked around both restaurants multiple times before taking a picture, from the outside.

If you looked at the angle the picture was taken, it looked like everybody was sitting on top of each other. Not the 6 feet each table was really spaced at. Took a lot of patience to finally get the picture that will make those restaurants look bad. Such a shame

Why are we opening, think of those who have no income, no food for their children, and no way to pay rent. The system failed those who apply for unemployment

Same thing a month ago on golf courses. Why is it that some people never learned to MYOB. Who appointed them official COVID police/photographers? One day they are going to snap a picture of the wrong person---sort of like Don Barzini in "The Godfather"

are reopening because the curve has been flattened, and we can be reasonably sure that new cases won't strain our capacity to care for them. Tens of millions of people have lost their livelihoods, and thousands of small business owners have lost everything, or are on the brink of losing everything. We are moving to the model we probably should have adopted in the first place: isolate the most vulnerable and everyone else practice good hygiene. If you don't feel safe going to a store or restaurant, don't go. But don't demand that millions of people sacrifice all they have to make you feel safe. There's no such thing as safety anyway. You can choose less risk, but guaranteed safety doesn't exist.[/QUOTE]

Time to open or there will be nothing of an economy left to open to.

Default Logical answer

Every year tens of thousands of people die of the flu. Are you willing to shut down the world so people don’t get the flu?? If not, then your same answer should apply in this instance .

This has always been about protecting hospitals from being overwhelmed with everyone getting it at the same time because it is so contagious and worse than the flu. It is NOT about keeping everyone from getting it. Is your hospital close to being overwhelmed? Well there is your answer to why we are opening up

Here is another way to look at it. Tens of thousands of people die in car accidents every year. Many times because people are selfish and reckless when they drive. Are you willing to change the speed limit to 10 mph so that people don’t die from the actions of selfish people?

You can’t live in a perfectly safe world. You can make your own self as safe as you can.

It's hard to believe the statistics related to this virus. It's the medias way of scaring the people and a way of control and manipulation. Don't believe everything you read

i agree photos can be misleading. depending on where you stand, & @ what angle you shoot, it can appear everyone is 'on top' of 1 another. point being we were @ 1 of the places where it was said people were crowding, when in reality, i saw nothing of the kind. knowing there are the 'fun police' watching every move is nothing short of pitiful
