I recommend Dr. Jerkins, in Fruitland Park. No upselling. Pleas and Dr. and staff.

Also beware of recommendations from people who only want cheap dentists, like those who like to fit more patients in per hour ($$) by doing the fast, old DRILL, FILL and BILL routine, and then PULL & BILL when nothing has been recommended nor bought for long-term maintenance to keep all your teeth for your whole life.

People here complain about "unnecessary" recommendations like root canals and porcelain/ceramic crowns, but that is what it takes to keep your teeth when they have such huge, old fillings that there's more filling than tooth and it cracks and breaks away, allowing bacteria in there. Seeing people having to have implants, I'll keep doing the recommended plans of our dentist.

I found him to be big on crowns and then his staff did most of the work, has he suggest you need a crown?

We are using Bushnell Family Dentistry in Bushnell. A pleasant 20 minute drive south of Brownwood on 301. We haven't had any restorative work done but they get my wife's thumbs up, she is a retired hygienist and has a pretty good filter for these sorts of things.
