I love TVH. The only way we will part ways is if they let me go or if I leave the earth. There is no way that a place that has been loyal to me for 10-plus years will have Old Nucky turn his back on them when supporting them feels like the correct thing to do. I am one loyal Old Man. I have had Loyalty as a quality my entire life, and I'm not going to change that now just because it may feel good to bail out on them now. I think I will wait to pass judgment on the whole situation that is going on now because it ain't over until the Fat Lady Sings. I don't hear the band warming up.
I don't judge anybody who decides to stab them with the words they type from behind their computer keyboard in the safety of their home. Very few people ACTUALLY know for certain exactly what is going on. |

I started checking out medigap policies and prices today.
The plans for 2026 are not out yet but will be in October. I got a price from Humana for $253 a month. I asked how difficult it is to go from advantage to traditional Medicare and he said that if you are in decent health, it wasn’t that difficult. If you are undergoing dialysis, have had a transplant, or some other serious health problem you would probably be rejected. I plan on checking out some other medigap policies tomorrow. I am up in the air for next year’s Medicare policy but I want to check out the options while I have time. It doesn’t hurt to be ready in case TVH has major changes in 2026 that are announced in November. |

I really liked The Villages Health Care also but that didn't stop them from dropping me when I turned 65, after having been a patient for 7 years. Loyalty is a two-way street.
