The Four Villages Pitch and Putt Golf Courses – A Player’s Asessment
Live Oak – Most challenging. Plays like an executive course from back tees. Bring your best players here.
Mickeylee – Easiest P&P, with only a couple of holes where the tee shot goes over water. Another nice thing about this P&P is its separate putting course.
Marsh View – The prettiest P&P, with gorgeous trees throughout. Site of Edna’s on The Green if you want to snack afterwards.
Richmond – The most poorly-designed P&P. 1) No berm to hide turnpike noise, which is very intrusive; 2) The green on hole 7 is buttressed by 6-foot wall right in front, which makes a difficult carry from over 100 yards; 3) Single bathroom at turn, not two as on other courses; 4) Hole #10 is furthest distance from sign-in shack and parking lot; 5) Hole #12, at about 100 yards, has no close-in tee box, whereas others of this distance do.
