Over the past several days I have seen a lot of discussion about the protests occurring throughout the country with strong opinions both pro and con. Most seem to be missing the main point of the protests--recognizing and dealing with racism in your local community. Why is there no discussion of covert and overt racism in the Villages? How do we recognize, address, and overcome racism here? Perhaps the lack of discussion is an indication of the problem.
