Hello! I actually joined this forum in2009. Was planning a villages trip upon retirement as my sister owns there. Hubby passed away. Traumatized but getting thru it. Is the Villages a good place for a 68 year old alone or should I stay put in my long term small town. So yearn for a change of scenery but afraid to make the jump. My biggest question is would I be able to make new friends at my age in todays world... but not getting any younger sitting here either. Oh I am in good health and no plans to ever marry again although some companionship would be o.k. Love my flower gardens.
