Does anyone know of a healthcare insurance agent that is independent and does not represent a specific insurance company. I am looking to buy a type G Medicare supplement policy but all of the ads I see are for specific companies. I would like to deal with an agent that can look at all of the various companies and give me the best deal.

Are your walls hollow?
We are in the process of building a new house in DeLuna. To our dismay, we discovered that all the interior walls of houses built in TV are hollow. There’s nothing between the layers of sheet rock. At great expense, we paid the builder to put some R11 insulation in the walls to reduce sound transmission from one room to another. Even though this was not offered to us as an option when we designed the house, we had to pay a $500 change fee to include it in our new house. Has anyone else noticed this in their houses? As a warning to those building houses, if you want to reduce sound transmission from one bedroom to another, be sure to ask for insulation before you sign your contract.
