Coming to The Villages.

Me and my wife are planning on moving to The Villages this summer. I have a question that I would appreciate an honest response to.

We are paying cash for our new home, so no mortgage, we earn about $60k a year from SSI, and we have about $500k in retirement funds.

I have read many comments on cost of living in The Villages, my question is, is that enough income to live comfortably (not extravagantly) in your beautiful community?
