I was the long time tour manager (and more) for The Ventures. We were on tour in Canada in 2005. I fan showed us his '65 Mosrite, after the show. It was still in the original box, with the original case and all of the candy. He said it was appraised at $100K. Back twenty years ago, that was believable. The Japanese spent big money on these iconic guitars. I still have one.
