I wish to change my ID from an old abandoned email address (gribcrib@comcast.net) to my current address (gogribs@gmail.com) , but get blocked or stymied every time. I have tried many times in different ways and I just can't seem to get the job done. I carefully have followed the steps suggested. Perhaps the problem is that I partially set up a new account under the new ID in the past and this is blocking the change. The password for one or both accounts is the same. Please advise.
