As you can probably tell, I just haven't mastered maneuvering around this website. I post when I should message, reply when I should post, start a thread when it should be a private message!!! Help!! Sorry you lost that Iris!! We toured several Iris designs when we visited TV in May. Most are located near Brownwood!! They definitely are beautiful, but as I said before, we found a preowned that seemed almost perfect!!! Not even sure what design because of the renovations made. I'm sure you will find one!!!

Thank you for your acknowledgement. The poem is unique in that it touches an aspect of pet companionship that is not often considered... they felt the love too. Thank you for responding to me, yes Woodbury is very nice....we dont have a bond, dont know what an Iris looks like, probably a newer model home than what we have....We live only 5 mins by cart to the Mulberry shopping and VA clinic. Also the shopping on 441 is wonderful too. I think we have more privacy here in the older section and more greenery

Mary Ann, Forgot to say, when you press the button say that says "Post Thread" a box will pop up for the title of the thread, and other box for the text of your thread. Once you get done with typing your post, scroll down until you see the button "Submit New Thread" or "Preview Post" (if you want to preview your post first for typos. Then hit "Submit New Thread" button. If you want to add or correct a typo, press the "Edit" button to correct or add something. Hope that helps. Have a nice weekend.

Mary Ann, Go to the section of TOTV that you want to post in, for example, The Villages General Discussion. Find the button towards the left of the screen that says "Post Thread" or "Start Thread." That should do it. Good luck selling your house! Hope you will be a frog soon. I am thinking about buying a house in TV next year and renting it out during snowbird season or most of the year, but I have a lot of number crunching to do to see if that would work for me. It's hard to look for a home in TV when you can only come down for a week or two at at time. I know a few people on TOTV have bought preowned homes by just seeing them on the internet; I am not sure I could go that route.

We are from the Hershey area in PA!!! We are very excited to move to TV. We had originally thought we too would move in October, but our house sold in 10 days, therefore our move is scheduled for July!!! We bought a preowned in Briar Meadow which is fully furnished! Lots to do - selling most of our furniture! Lots to coordinate before the big move - auction, storage, transport company, and finding a place for our son!!! Where in PA do you live? Anxious to make connections with PA people!!! Look us up when you arrive. If we can answer any questions about our move, let me know!!!

Sorry just saw your message today! I am not to good at knowing how to navigate these forums. Any way, I live in New Hampshire now, as well as having a house in Pinellas. I think October may be cutting it very close as they are moving ahead pretty quickly with buildout. But who know they may have some spec houses built when you are looking in the fall. We bought a spec house as it had almost everything we were looking for. We did look at building but the price got away from us very quickly. One of my sons lives in Philadelphia with his family. Mary Ann, Sorry for not replying to your e-mail. I adopted a new cat on June 1; I have not been on TOTV for the past 8 days. TV was great as usual. I think prices are going up somewhat for preowned -- I have seen more than one preowned patio villa with a sales price of over $160K. Whether or not the seller gets their asking price is another thing. I went to an open house for a new patio villa in the Village of Hillsborough that was only about 1.5 miles from Brownwood. $144K plus $12K bond. I'm thinking about buying preowned maybe next year and renting the house out year round for a couple of years, but I would have to run a lot of numbers first to see if this would work for me. It would make me somewhat nervous to be a long distance landlord, although I know a lot of people in TV do this. I'm hoping to go back to TV in the fall for a week. I might do a LSV if I go back in the fall as I have actually not done one of those, just always rented someone's house for a week.

We are making the move from St James to Pinellas in order to get a golf course view lot. We LOVE our Iris so much that we are building the exact same model again, only with a couple of "stretches" that our St. James lot would not accommodate. After spending two wonderful winters there, we are moving closer to the decision to make the permanent move from Michigan to TV. Are you moving to Pinellas or another village? We sure have mixed emotions about leaving St. James...it is an excellent location and has a very active community club, but we are hoping life in Pinellas will be just as much fun!
