Ceiling Fans: glass globes falling off. I purchased 5 ceiling fans in 2018. I've had the globes fall down and crash down (glass shards everywhere, luckily no injuries) for no reason. Manufactured by Gulf Coast Fans Inc in Oldsmar FL and carried by Dan's Fan City in Leesburg. The model is Bermuda V and the globe is the "low profile 167 Oval Scavo Glass". When the first one crashed after I pulled the chain to turn it on. When I told the salesman that I wanted free replacements he said the set screws probably were loose and that I needed to occasionally re-tighten them. I disagreed with him and there were no instructions in the installation guide that this needed to be done. He finally agreed to replace 2 globes and had their installer come out to install them. The installer said the lip looked defective, too narrow. I wrote to Gulf Fans and they never replied. It recently happened again with one of the replacement globes. I wondered if anyone else has had this problem.

So many holiday decorations to see this year! I love the neighborhoods who have a common display (i.e. snowman, tree, etc) throughout the yards. For those involved, can you tell me how you get started - i.e. canvassing neighbors, deciding on a suitable decoration, etc. Does each resident order their own? Any info in how to get this started would be appreciated. Thanks

Has anyone had their garage floor/patio/driveway epoxy coated by Mark of "Epoxy Pro FL"? He's a 1 guy operation who says he does a lot of work in TV. I do not recommend him. My neighbor and I both had our floors coated by him on July 21. We waited a week before moving stuff back into the garage or driving our cars on the floor. It peeled up anyways. We've tried contacting him to have him comeback and redo it but to no avail. He required cash or Venmo payment. His business card says there's a 7 year warranty. Good luck with that. We're probably looking at having the floor scrapped and re-coated. Just wanted you to be forwarned.
