Today, I went to Another Broken Egg. I paid cash and they do not give change in cents according to our server. I was due $19.69 in change and got $19.30. Honestly, the cents change is and is not the issue. So, if I charged my bill I would not have this issue and the business pays a credit card surcharge. I got $19.30 back. I noticed the cents change and counted my bills. I said to the server where is the other 39 cents. She informed me they do not give cents back and she took 30 cents out of her pocket to give me some change back prior to my inquiry. I said WHAT? My companion said that is stealing? She said you can talk to my manager. I said no thank you. I am notifying corporate.

First of all 30 cents coming out of a server’s pocket is not okay as management is too lazy to go get change. Second, of all this is nuts as I was a cash customer and they are paying for credit card users.

I will be calling corporate and I will NOT patronize them again.
