Hi Jack and Mary,
Thanks for the "friend" invite and response to my post. Makes sense.
We are Jack and Rosemary, living in an apartment in Flanders, sold our home last year and trying to figure out our next move. My husband was raised in Fanwood, NJ. I was from Bergen County.
Say, what about these sinkholes we've been hearing about? We have friends in SC trying to convince us that SC is the place to go, not TV and brought up the sinkhole issues. Any thoughts on that?

Hello R&J: We are doing the same thing and also live in NJ (Watchung). The two most common reasons we heard for people moving so quickly were: 1. to move to a different home in The Villages (usually bigger and more privacy but not always); and 2. death or health issues. The number one negative we heard from people was the lack of contact with family (our concern as well) but that didn't seem to be a reason for selling. Over time, the number of visits from family to TV as well as the TV residents back to family seemed to work out. Jack & Mary
