My wife and I were just selected for a lot on the Woodlands golf course. We are happy.... One of the documents is a disclosure stating:
Seller is hereby disclosing that a portion or portions of your property is in a flood zone
and your lender may require flood insurance if you mortgage the property. Upon request,
Seller shall provide you with an elevation certificate following construction of the home,
showing that the lowest floor of the home is at or above the base flood elevation. Please
consult with your insurance provider for more information.

Is this a document sent to everyone who purchases a home in The Villages? Or should we be concerned? Thank you!
