Nova Filtration: JUST A HEADS UP that they are having their employees look at your expansion tank as a courteous, telling people their expansion tanks are bad, recommending the client call a handyman for which they give a business card for. All this without proper inspection of the expansion tank. Be aware, touching the tank is not a proper way of testing it for damage. I spoke with Brad who said they have found a lot that needed replaced. I told him I tested mine and that touching the tank (as his employee did) is not the proper way of testing it. If I had not known what to do I would have had to pay for a service call and maybe for parts that was not needed. Don't get me wrong, Nova is a great system. I wanted to give people a heads up on what I feel is not a smart idea for them to be doing, especially to a senior citizen who is not educated on expansion tanks.
