Another and probably the last pool game in list of old 60s pool games I use to play… at least that’s way I remember it?
Ok, it’s call shot game and not continuous play meaning you get 1 shot, then your opponent turn for 1 shot, so it alternates back and forth till some makes 8 balls out rack of 15. Kind of like straight pool with one shot at time. So rack 15 balls, numbers mean nothing (use to be played with all red snooker balls). All shots have to be called even on break. So, it might be wise not to scatter the balls on break and leave your opponent easy shot? First one to make 8 balls and general pool rule apply, own ball on fouls and ball must hit rail after contact or pocketed. This game test your ability to make shot and play safe with cue ball leaving your opponent with hard shot so you get to 8 before your opponent. All fouls cue ball shot out of kitchen, if no balls out of kitchen on foul then closest one to rail gets spotted. Like the scratch game I mentioned except shooting cue ball into objects balls. Well, that’s it all games I remember playing in my small home town grown up. Most of these games was played for little money in older days. Dollar ball for high rollers ![]() ![]() |
