New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was taken into custody by police Wednesday morning around 8:30am.

Hernandez, wearing a shirt half way on, red athletic shorts and black shoes, was taken from the front door of his mansion in handcuffs behind his back and then placed into a police car.

The state police and police dogs searched Hernandez's house for nearly 4 hours this past Saturday.
