" Bob Ryan, now Vice President and editor-in-chief of NFL Films, coined this for the Cowboys while preparing and editing the team's 1978 season highlight film. He was quoted as saying: "I wanted to come up with a different twist on their team highlight film. I noticed then, and had noticed earlier, that wherever the Cowboys played, you saw people in the stands with Cowboys jerseys and hats and pennants. Plus, they were always the national game on television." (Wikipedia)

Jerry Jones is the problem.
He should take his wealth and leave football to someone else.

GREAT Question
They should let America choose their own team, not force feed us the Cowgirls.

A Texas native friend of mine always said:
"The most Obnoxious people in Texas are the trans planted ones from other states."

so bring tom coughlin back if you think he's better than the 6 or so belichik won. . . you should state that you believe that tom coughlin is available to take the Cowboys to the Super Bowl. .

Belichick is going to either the Chargers or Falcons OR MAYBE Dallas.

He’s not looking for a total rebuild, but rather a misguided team with a fairly good roster.

That way he can more easily beat the Shula record.

Jerry Jones has become a lot milder with age. He looks tired these days.

So MAYBE Dallas…

Jerry Jones is a control freak and a football idiot.

Jones didn’t help matters any when he told two Dallas Morning News reporters, “There are 500 coaches who could have won the Super Bowl with our team.”

He threw away at least two more Superbowls because of his enormous ego and craving for the spotlight.

Dallas Cowboys the team is Americas team because they generate more passion by far than any other team both for and against. Why do you think their games are televised so much? People love to see them lose. How many people hate the Tennessee Titans?

The Cowboys are always fun to watch. But they do have other things going for them.

Fond memory...back in 1975 I attended the playoff game between the Cowboys and the Vikings in rickety old Metropolitan Stadium, site and date of the original "Hail Mary" pass. Late December, a bit to go before game time and the crowd, with stocking caps, bunny boots and thermos bottles full of brandy, was pouring in. Not much security in those days: as I was walking in I found myself surrounded by a bunch of tall, VERY attractive women. Here I was surrounded by the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders! Almost worth the pain of watching Staubach heave that desperation pass on 4th and 16 to win the game for Dallas.

Not a fan of either Green Bay or Dallas, but I rooted for the Packers in this game because they are in the same division as the Bears. I just find the Cowboys completely obnoxious and was so glad to see them lose. If Dak Prescott is worth $60 million a year, what is Jordan Love, a better QB, worth?

we did, actually when we were stuck with him we were begging to get rid of him.

As for Belechicken.... he won't improve Dallas at all. He's stuck in the mud he has always been stuck in. Formulas don't work any more. That's all he's got.

Let's not start praising Love. he's still wishy washy. Lots of flaws

I’m still in mourning! I thought my Cowboys had a good chance this year. Don’t know where they were on Sunday, none of them seemed to show up for the game. The usual
symbiotic plays between Prescott and Lamb were virtually non existent. I thought about Belachek coming to Dallas but I’m not sure if the equally strong personalities of Jerry Jones and Bill Belachek
could possibly work. Time will tell. Now back to my mourning.

Not me! I watched Jimmy Johnson as he gave his pep talk AKA rant from the studio and wished he was in the locker room with the CB. He would have motivated them for sure.
