Yes Doc, I am aware of that. I am routing for the Chargers so the PATS play the dome team as stated earlier in my last post. At least the Colts have held up their end of that scenario.

Sorry, I misread your post. I agree, the Colts are preferable to the Bengals.

But as far as intimidation, you have to consider that both the Chargers and the Pats played the Broncos at home. Things are a bit different at mile high.

Looking ahead, I'd love to see the Chargers beat Denver at Denver, but it would completely shock me if they did.

I agree. I just checked the weather in Denver for next Sunday. Unfortunately it is going to be 50 with no wind an 0% chance of rain. It should be a Manning-palooza kind of day.

Actually, I'm wrong here. San Diego is the only team to have beaten Denver at Denver this year.

Great game by the Patriots last night. If they play that way next week, they have a good chance of getting to the Super Bowl.

I do have to comment on what is a terrible rule. A touchdown is scored and a defensive player commits a foul during or after the play. Fifteen yards for unnecessary roughness in this case. The fifteen yard is assessed on the kick off allowing the kicking team to kick from the 50 yard line.

When is a fifteen yard penalty not a penalty? How is the offending team penalized in this case or how is the offended team rewarded? Kicking off from the fifty, in most cases these days, not counting bad weather conditions, is not much different than kicking off from the 35. The ball goes deep into or over the end zone most of the time in either situation. I supposed it takes away from the big return which almost never happens.

Hey NFL, how about changing that rule so that you assess those yards at the end of the return? In the event of a touchback, the ball would be placed on the five yard line.

A little disappointed that San Diego didn't beat the Broncos. It would have been much better to have the game played in Gillette. Of course the game would be in Foxboro except for that horrendous call at the end of the Jets game.

It would have been better to play at Gillette but I want to see a Brady and Manning match up. Call me crazy.

Broncos are a 6 point favorite over the Pats next weekend. Lets hope this inspires the Pats to play 2 great games in a row.

Got my cart all ready...

It's perfection to watch Manning. If there is or ever was a better quarterback.. who and why are they better?

Troy Aikman....... 3 Super Bowl wins
Tom Brady...........3 Super Bowl wins
Several others... 2 Super Bowl wins

Peyton Manning ONE Super Bowl win. Even Eli has more wins than Payton. I'm looking for the perfection.
