Jets play the Bucs today. That puts Jets General Manager John Idzik, Jr. up against his former team, the Tampa Bay Bucs. http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/arti...9-32ea6f97f5b0 John Idzik, Jr. is my paternal grandfather's sister's grandkid, or something like that. He and his family used to live in Palm Harbor about a football field away from where we lived in Palm Harbor but in a much more luxurious neighborhood. He'd sometimes offer us free Tampa Bay Bucs tickets but my dad always turned him down not wanting to take advantage.

I do not think any of the sports talents in the Idzik gene ever got into our bloodline though as as you will soon see my NFL picks are usually hit and miss.

I do hope that the Jets do better this season that the experts are predicting though.
