I thought it was a good draft and the picks went well. It is always disheartening to watch some of your draft roster players disappear to another team. Then you have to hustle to find a suitable replacement. Three of my hot players went before I got to the second round.

Ah - such is life. Now the fun begins. Adjusting the roster for week one.

Good luck all.

I thought it went great, except I too lost players just before I was going to pick 'em.
Thanks.

Caveman, thanks for picking Romo so I could get LT, that's a clever pick on your part, I didn't see it coming.

Hey,

I missed all the fun. Flashplayer never loaded. I was READY to draft and as I look back on my automatic picks and the order of players taken, I realize I would have chosen only one two of the players I ended up with. So now the fun will be to see which of my teams does better.
I assume my position players will start in week one and the BNs will sit. Is there a list of undrafted players somewhere from which I can pick up free agents? If I ditch a kicker for example, can I pick up an extra WR?

ps: new fight song... "We're gonna Do It To the Orange & Blue"

you can still make any roster changes you want til 5 minutes before game time (so yahoo says) , I've made some already. check for injuries, make swaps

you can go to the player list and pick up any available player (undrafted),
you can make trades too. I'll check your list, maybe give you a good deal.

sorry the draft table didn't load right

zcaveman,
I believe that's the % of the time that player is owned under all yahoo leagues.

So Romo, Brady, LT, etc are 100%

I have always gone for a QB first. His game usually makes or breaks you. I found out that Romo is on the cannot cut list. Hope he stays healthy!! LT and Peterson were on my list but further down.

BTW: I had my wife for a standby in case Bart the dog had to go out. She actually enjoyed the whole thing.

John's right about my WRs. In fact, as I've told him, my whole team looks pretty good. I was all ready to draft and the flashplayer didn't load properly. So I ended up with auto picks. I studied the draft results and determined that if I had been picking, I'd only have taken 1 or 2 of the players I have now. I'm going to watch the players I'd have picked but I've got the sneaking suspicion the computer is WAY smarter than me.

Good luck to all! (that is except O&B. Can you hear my catchy new fight song: We're Gonna DO IT TO the Orange & Blue)

Who decided that we have to have players on the "can't cut list"? Is this a Yahoo thing or is it a selectable option.

If it is selectable, I would opt for it to go away. I have four players on the "can't cut list".

Can't cut list -

yahoo hard coded rule:

Q- How does the Can't Cut list work?

A- Many of the best players in the game are on this list throughout the season. When a player is on this list, he cannot be waived from a team under any circumstances—even if he's injured.

The Can't Cut list, which is updated when necessary to account for injury or performance issues, prevents managers at the bottom of the standings from changing the league dynamics by waiving all of their outstanding players. Players are added and removed from the list as appropriate during the season.

This list does not affect your ability to swap a player between active and bench, or make a trade involving him.

The Can't Cut list applies to all leagues, Public and Custom, in Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football and cannot be modified or eliminated from individual Custom Leagues.

so one would assume that Tom Brady is on the can't cut list. With him now out for the season that would mean that the manager that drafted him started out with a great catch but now could be stuck with a bench warmer for the season. Thant is a bummer (if he is on that no cut list).

That is my question. If he i out forthe season, the can't cut status should go away. In the real world they are allowed to replace the player.

Can who ever has Brady let us know what the status is?
