re: Tom Brady
Yahoo has him on injured reserve and while he WAS on the can't cut list, he was "released" from it (by yahoo) and whoever owned him was able to drop him.

Guys, do you understand yahoo's logic about not wanting folks to screw up the league?

Anyway, I believe if Brady were out a week or two, he'd indeed be kept on the can't cut list. Given he's out for the season, yahoo removed the can't cut designation.

This is a system controlled check and balance thing, not a league decision.

Yup I do get it. I think that it will become even more appearant later in the season when some of us are way down on the bottom of the list and have no chance of placing in top 3 in the league. It would be all too easy to just give key players away to someone who is still in the running. Makes complete sense to me! We are not playing for any big prize in our league but so leagues do and that would make a bigger unfair/skewed result and simply would not be any fun. I think it is good!

dang and all,

In my son's 8 team league (which I'm trying to emulate here my first time setting one up),
the top 4 teams have a 2 week playoff for the championship.

In his league, the last 4 teams play a consolation playoff, which is still interesting and fun.

I don't know with 10 teams, if our league here does the consolation playoff, may just be the top 4 teams.

Yep, all in fun!

As an interested by stander, can I get to see the league standings? Can I view the web site, or can it be posted here?

To all the players in the TOTV league. Don't forget to sign into the Fantasy Football site and make sure that your team is set. This should be a weekly activity. You might have injured players that need to be replaced. Players on your first string that did not play. You might want to make a change with a bench player or trade for a new player. Once the bye weeks start, you will lose players in the slots where that team has a bye.

Good luck to all this coming Sunday and Monday.

Z

Ya know, there is something sadly wrong when you get a 2d and 3d place in points and are in the bottom half. I think I'll go sit in the corner and sulk.
