John 3:16 NIV - For God so loved the world that he gave - Bible Gateway

Cannot understand the fan's negative re-action to Tim Tebow? He seems to be a very likeable young man with tremendous talent. He wears his religion on his face sometimes with is John 3:16 face paint, tries to get 3-1-6 into his yardage and bows to God when he makes a touchdown. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/0...n_1195221.html

This is another example of how this world of ours is upside down.

Time Tebow gets booed and yet Charlie Sheen, Kardashian, Sheen's manic behavior gains applause. It is no wonder kids are all confused look at the role models they have Sheen, Kardashian, Snookie. Geeezzz

Not sure how many people would actually call Charlie Sheen or the various Kardashians role models.

Tim Tebow certainly is in certain respects.

This link has an interesting discussion about athletes as role models. http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/stor...s-easter-event

The NY sports broadcasts shed a different slant on this story. Seated in the row behind TT, off his left shoulder, is Dwayne Wade, whose Miami Heat had beaten the Knicks earlier in the day. That might have had something to do with the booing.

The occurrence was being referred to as Tim Te - boo.

And Rubicon........ I agree with your statement.

New York Jets' Tim Tebow draws thousands to Texas Easter event - ESPN New York

The 8 minute plus discussion in the above link about athletes as role models might give a stronger clue why some people do not like Tim Tebow especially other professional athletes.
