I wonder how many teams are going to rest the first squad and let them heal up for the playoffs. Quite a few of the contests still have playoff ramifications.

On to the NFL Playoffs with two games on Saturday and two on Sunday. I dropped from 1 to 3 in the Standings because of the upsets yesterday.

First NFL playoff game today --Seattle at Minnesota-- is going to be very cold.

Should the cold make a difference on your pick???

That stadium was not there when I went to the U of MN for law school. Graduating in 1989 and then working for a Law Library there for two years as the cataloger of the Westlaw computer files, some reference, cataloging foreign language materials and reclassifying some legal books to fit new cataloging rules.

I may watch looking for some familiar sites though.

I am glad that I do not live in the Twin Cities now as that looks very cold up there.

My second John Idzik, Jr., probably worked for Pete Carroll. He was with Seattle before taking over as General Manager of the NY Jets and is now with Jacksonville. He was with AZ and Tampa Bay as well. I met his family when we both lived in Palm Harbor but never have met John Idzik, Jr.

Only one person picked the Kansas City Chiefs to win against the Patriots this afternoon. We will see who is right with their choice. It sounded like about half the NFL TV commentators picked the Chiefs to win.
