Go to a rec center & get a schedule where beginner, intermediate & advanced are played.
NORMALLY is on the vertical rack with the rec news.

Saddlebrook players come over to Pimlico on sunday mornings (8am? To 930am). So I assume they play at Saddlebrook the rest of the week in the mornings. They might be better than 4.0. They are really great players!

Pickelball 101 comes first

The following are suggestions for advanced play:
-Mulberry
-Saddlebrook
-Hacienda
-Canal
-Lake Miona
-Truman
-Bacall

These are just a few. There will be varying levels of play at each center, but if you are truly advanced, you will get good competition. Lake Miona probably has the most 5.0 players. There may be others south of 466A also. Hacienda plays closer to noon, all the rest begin at daybreak. Don't be afraid to try a few out. Most will welcome you.

I was in your predicament some months ago, and went wandering around looking for a competitive matches and eventually found " The " best place (s).

Here Goes:

1) Lake Miona ...Monday thru Friday 8:00 AM til 11:00 very competitive, welcoming, eager to pass on tips, very social, and friendly....few 3.5...but most a mixture of 4.0...to 5.0..Your Best Bet...bring along your friends.

2) Saddlebrook...Saturday AM...again 8:00 Start

3) Seabreeze and Pimlico...Sunday AM 8:00 Start

4) Truman mostly men...Monday thru Friday

Once again Lake Miona is your best bet for very competitive Pickleball both Men and Women rotating of partners is encouraged ...Happy and Welcoming group.
