Default Rainbow

Did you see this full rainbow yesterday? It's just a phone photo so the image itself is not that great. But what I thought was cool is the difference of color above and below the rainbow...very noticeable live just as in the photo. Also, do you see the faint second rainbow?

That's quite interesting. I stayed inside from noon through 4:30 PM yesterday because I could not find any eclipse glasses and did not feel all the safe with the various homemade eclipse viewers.

We were actually in the wrong place to see it. It occurred three-ish so the sun was high in the sky-SMALL. It was cloudy and we are actually too far south.

I watched it on TV. It did go completely dark for me because after hearing the much abused word,"AWESOME," about 300+ times I fell asleep.

FORGIVE ME BUT-not feeling all that safe. All of life involves risk. If, you have no risk you are missing, avoiding, much of life.

I did watch a lot of it on TV too. Flipping from the Weather Channel to CNN to CBS, ABC, and NBC local Orlando coverage.

I just wanted to protect my eyesight as much as possible. Those glasses would have come in handy but I really did not pay much attention to news of the August 21, 2017 solar eclipse until demand for these have exhausted the supply for them.
