If you have an android cell phone you can use LENS app - which will identify objects, plants, translate text, convert photos of text to actual text, and a bunch of other things.

That all works on iOS also (now.) I need the plant recognition app for sure. It wouldn't hurt my feelings to have an app that recognizes animals and birds too.

It looks like a cosmos to me. I had crimson cosmos in my yard and these look exactly the same, only a different color.

I think it’s cosmos. I’d know for sure if I could see the leaves. It’s beautiful.
