My mother had one when I was a kid. The Philadelphia Bullentin paper came out to see it and report about it. Lots of people were there to see it cause it's kind of rare as I remember. Maybe only blooms once every 7 years or something? Or maybe once a year....my memory is a little fuzzy, was about 70 years ago.
