You may have seen these butterflies around. They can grow to 4-5 inches across. They usually don't sit to long. I was lucky to catch this one on a pickerel(sp) plant by a retention pond.

You are lucky to catch this one, Alemorkam. There has been one flitting through our backyard (set up for butterflies) for the past few months, and by the time I can get out there, he's gone.

He is very fast and does not sit for long. Hour chasing the little guy.
