nope. nice try. monarchs have a distinctve black band across the wing bottom. with markings neatly laid inside it.

I love butterflies.

At my Tampa home we planted heavily in bushes that attract butterflies and some bushes that are sacrificial of their leaves for the caterpillars to feed upon.

It was fun to discover that in the chrysalis stage we would find them attached to various spots on the house. For a while we had to quit using the front door because a chrysalis was attached to the door knob.

Butterfly bush plantings can be very rewarding.
