Look at that talon, ready and waiting.

He's a different color than the hawk that used to sit on our deck in Michigan. That one was browner. Wonder what kind he is.

Beautiful pic. When my son was visiting last October, he and my man Ed went to play golf. A hawk just like this one did not like him for some reason and zoomed down and flew right across his head. My son said - "I think he wanted a beer and was mad cause we were out". lol

Could be a Cooper's Hawk, not sure
