My take on this is based on observation: It is " Line Dancing " why ? Lookin Down. Line Dancers are always looking down " Always ".

one of the nice things about Florida is the variety of birds that we are able to enjoy every day

on one trip to the Florida Keys years ago we stopped and picnicked about midway down the Keys...while there we watched a Reddish Egret actually dancing in the shallow waters near the shoreline....this bird struts and constantly flaps their wings erratically to scare the small fry fish hiding in the shallows into movement, which they then easily feed off of

it was humorous to watch this particular type of egret feed....however, seeing that animated behavior in a bird for the first time made us initially wonder if the bird was going into some kind of convulsive fit lol
