When I moved here three years ago, I was amazed at all the bald eagles in the area. I always equated them with northern climes. Nice to see them here and beautiful photos as usual Ron!

Some time ago I was playing Briarwood and when I got to the 8th tee box I saw a guy who had set up a tripod with a big telephoto lenses pointed at a pile of debris near the top of a high tension wire tower close by. He was shooting pictures of a bald eagle and her babies. I innocently asked if he would email some of the pictures to me and he replied “Sure. For $25 a picture.”
