Playing golf at Evans Prairie the other day and this Majestic Bald Eagle landed in the tree next to us. This is the third Bald Eagle I have seen in the villages.

We live across street from Evans Prairie and we see the eagles almost every day. we hear they are nesting on the golf course and fishing in the water there. They are breath taking.

There's been a couple hanging around by El Santiago and El Diablo courses. They are there frequently.

Great pictures. They are so majestic. We were driving along 466A the other day and saw a hawk take off from a pond with a good-size fish in his talons. Unlike you, Ale, I did not have my camera and we weren't in the right place (car) at the right time!

we watched one having breakfast a couple weeks ago on el diablo. it appeared to be a an ibis or egret by the looks of all the white feathers around him.

Nitehawk I am not sure what area south of 466A you are referring to but Evans Prairie is south of 466A.

Perhaps you are talking about another area further south and east of 466A.

If you are looking for the Eagles-----There is an area along Bunea Visa and Bailey Trail that is designated as an Eagle Nest area. This area also is adjacent to Cane Garden's golf course. They are majestic birds----thanks for the photos.
