Awwwww. One of the best things about this part of the world is the birds. They are amazing. You and Shrandall are such talented photographers.

I was driving on Odell late this morning and a sandhill crane was trying to cross the road. I and the cars behind me stooped, as did the golf carts in the adjacent lane to try and let the poor fella get across. But could the golf cart coming in the opposite direction bother to stop and let him complete his journey....nope. Scared the poor fellow so he started to go back. Fortunately a little patience by the rest of us waiting convinced him that maybe he could make it and he finally did. It was sad to see someone who wouldn't give one of these magnificent creatures a chance to make it across. I hope where there were heading was very important.
