Ronda: You have a real eye for beauty. Isn't it amazing that such sights surround us, there is always something wonderful to see, we are so blessed in North America.

Thanks for sharing the photographs.

Bare, I used to have the whole 35mm set up with specialty lenses (85-205 zoom, fish eye, etc....which I gave to my baby sis) Now, if I could just upgrade my Kodak cheapo digital, I might get somewhere!!! But Thanks for the compliment! And yes BEAUTY is everywhere!!

Yes Nonie, wicked cool. (I learned wicked from an 8 year old!)

Ronda, you are so talented! I really admire anyone who is artistic! I'd love to be able to draw or paint. Something I can take classes in I suppose, but I have no natural talent. I took ceramics once, not a pretty sight.

Nice sketch!!! I think I need to get you a picture in full daylight. You had to guess about the terrain. I like the bench down by the lake. Will I be gator bait down there??

Yes, gator bait. No benches near the water!!!! I did a bit of improvising, but it was a quick (hour?) sketch.

Default An oil painting by Rhonda

Oil on canvas. 16x24. My favorite style of painting! The photo looks somewhat flat. The sky has hundreds of strokes. Entire painting is done with tiny strokes and dabs of color. Comments appreciated, as my art has not had much exposure. Thanks!! The Villages Florida

Wow! You are very talented. You should be painting all the time!!! My dad was talented like that, and we finally convinced him that he needed to take the time and do some paintings. He only got a few done before he passed away. Wish we could have all gotten one for our homes. (there are 5 kids in my family) He did make one for my daughter, and she has it in her kids bedroom now. Such a great memory of her grandfather to pass on.

Default oil painting by Rhonda

I sold many, my children each have several, all relatives and friends have at least 1. Mom has a few, I have painted since 1991 and probably have painted at least 100. This is one of about 12 I have kept. I'll post more, if you enjoy looking!
