My wife and I get a good natured ribbing from our grands because we always hold hands.
I just tell them we have been doing it since our first date, and not stopping now.
Plus we need to now, as neither of us can hold our liquor like we used too!

This is a daughter leading her father. I think it is adorable.

Nothing wrong with showing love or affection to someone else.

Ditto. My wife and I have been doing it for decades. It seems to bother no one (and I wouldn't care if it did). We get lots of compliments. From all age groups.

The cat doesn't like it though: if we hold hands, talk or give one another a hug, she's right there voicing her disapproval and trying to get between us.

My husband always reaches for my hand, and I for his, as we move through life.

It's one of the nicities in our daily lives together which began over ⁴⁰ years ago. ♡

Been holding my wife’s hand since well before we were married and long before we moved to TV. It’s not just a TV thing.

I find it interesting how people relate to the love for a parent (as in this photo) to the love for a spouse. The female in the photo has a Rebecca Minkoff Julien backpack. The average age of the Rebecca Minkoff customer is 35. What indicates her age is her skin and the long thick blond hair. The man is in his eighties. What gives away his age is his skin and posture etc.

Jeez....I think the photographer Ron Clark took a nice pic setting a "mood", but got dissected here.

Regardless of backpack brand, hair on arms, skin wrinkles, etc....ugh

Did you really miss the point that there is a difference between the type of love a child has for her father, than what a spouse feels towards her spouse?
