Black Racer. About a year ago I was out walking when one of them plunged out of the high grass on the edge of the trail, stopped, looked up at me and hightailed it back from whence he came. They move fast!

Not poisonous, though I understand that their bite is no picnic and they're one of the crabbier reptiles around here.
