Default Todays walk.

Flax fields in foreground, the yellow are Buttercups in the horse paddocks, and our 12th. century village church is hiding in the trees top left.

I've never been to the UK and if I could travel it would be on my "to do" list. In your opinion, which parts are the most beautiful? I love to watch the British programs and one day will subscribe to Acorn and others to watch more of them.

I was there two summers ago. It was lovely then, too. As pretty as it comes. So few 12th century churches here in The Villages.

So lovely. Thank you. We hope to go over next year. Have not been to the Cotswolds area since the 1980’s. Overdue!

The history (and we have a lot of it) is in the towns and cities, but the 'oldie world' is in the villages.
Take your pick really.
Most places have something of interest.
Just that IMHO I just happen to live in the best place!!

I assume you are teasing. Columbus did not,"discover," America until the 15th century.
The Indians did not build churches. The Villages, most of Florida was a mosquito infested swamp. Buying history? The US bought London Bridge, the Cloisters and worn out double decker buses, come to mind.
