Zimmerman prosecution looking incompetent.

Noted defense attorney and Harvard Professor Alan Dershowitz, blasts the prosecution team on the Zimmerman murder trial of having evidence “so thin that it won’t make it past a judge on a second degree murder charge … everything in the affidavit is completely consistent with a defense of self-defense.”

Further, he said if the prosecution had access to the newly released photo showing the bloodied head of Zimmerman and didn’t mention it in the affidavit, that would constitute a “grave ethical violation,” since affidavits are supposed to contain “all relevant information.” He said it borders on perjury, as suppressing "an important part of the truth is a lie".

Why would the State of Florida presenting a case that may make them look very stupid with the whole country watching? It doesn't seem the state is playing by the rules.

I don't know. They did exactly the same thing with Casey Anthony.

The Prosecution Team looked weak today, and made a few blunders. But it was a bond hearing, not a trial.

Maybe that is why they did not arrest him for so long. They probably didn't have enough evidence to make it stick. They only arrested him when they did due to public pressure. My guess is he will walk on the charges based on what I have seen so far. But then he has a price on his head that someone will go after.

That picture was worth a thousand words and, IMHO, will be the downfall of the prosecution.

Zimmerman

I agree. Charges were pressed due to political pressure.

Rushing to judgment.

Let's wait until we get all the facts before rushing to judgment about either George Zimmerman or Trayvon Martin. http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Justice...on-Martin-case

"A wound on the head could be consistent with Zimmerman's story of being attacked after losing sight of Martin and heading on foot back toward his vehicle. But if Zimmerman instigated the confrontation, an injury would also be consistent with Trayvon struggling to defend himself, says Gary Kleck, a criminologist and gun-crime expert at Florida State University in Tallahassee." From above linked article from the CSMonitor. This is from April 3, 2012.

Remember,no charges were filed for weeks and weeks with Sanford where people were hoping that this would just go away. They were just going to bury this and move on. what a shame. When the "People " spoke up finally they got some action.Very glad high profile people got involved.

The picture could be something taken by a neighbor and then sold to the media for a lot of money. I find it suspicious that only ABC got this picture. Head wounds bleed quite a bit too but are quickly fixed up if superficial. Zimmerman's wounds do look like they were superficial judging from the video at the police station taken just 30 minutes or so after the fight.

It does not look "doctored" to me more like someone kept some information they had away from the prosecution team and then sold it to the media for big bucks. http://abcnews.go.com/US/george-zimm...ry?id=16177849

"The person who took the photograph of a bloodied Zimmerman, asking not to be identified, told ABC News exclusively that they did not see the scuffle that night, but did hear it. The person recalled seeing Martin's prostrate body on the wet grass and said the gunpowder burns on Martin's gray hoodie were clearly visible." From above linked abcnews.go.com article.

Are you saying the photos of Zimmerman's head are doctored? Your post isn't really coherent so I'm not sure if that is what you are saying.

Weather in The Villages

If the sun is out; take a walk, go for a bike ride, play golf, bocce, shuffle board, sit on the patio, pull some weeds, trim your hedges, wash the golf cart and your car, turn on some music. Life is too short. :blahblahblah::blahblahblah::blahblahblah:

I think the state is playing to the press, the mob, Al Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson. Change the law so "stand your ground" won't be a factor in the future.
