It wasn't a Glock. It was a Kel-Tec PF-9. According to his father George is a bout 5'9" tall. I try to stay with the facts.

A family member who was a NYC Court reporter for many many years and now retired, used to work in The Bronx courts. She once told me that in NYC when a white is charged with a crime against a blacks it's seen in racist colors, but when a black is charged with a crime against whites, it's robbery.

A observation from one in the trenches.

too many people have been race baited by Sharpton, and those like him trying to get an emotional judgement with no facts other than ....but he was black!!!

I am amused how fickle and sheep like people can be when they have absolutely no idea what so ever about what they are talking about.

If you or any of the others Sharpton, et al, the media and all the other hypsters....ya just do not know what yer talking about. Entitled to your opinion of course. Know what you are talking about....UH-UH!!!

Shooting of Trayvon Martin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Except that an individual's political affiliation seems to have impacted just which shepherd to follow--

"The Project for Excellence in Journalism has reported that media coverage of the Trayvon Martin case became the first story in 2012 to be featured more than the presidential race. According to the Project, the varying types of media have focused on the case in different ways. An article in the Tampa Bay Times wrote that, 'on Twitter, people are outraged at Zimmerman and want justice, while on cable news and talk radio people are discussing the state's laws for self-defense and gun control and on blogs the focus has been on race.'"

Too Many Inconsistencies

Zimmerman seems to have a problem sticking to one story. On one of the tapes he said that Trayvon turned and started toward him. That's not jumping him from behind as he now claims. Yesterday, he contradicted himself by saying that he didn't know him and thought Martin was closer to his age (he's 28)...on the tape he told the dispatcher that it was a teen in his late teens, which is what he turned out to be.

As for the "profuse" bleeding on his head from being bashed on concrete repeatedly, why has blood on the concrete not been mentioned by either side? Did the police even check to see if there was any there? It doesn't take time for a fight to be over for a head wound to start bleeding.

I don't understand why they would take one person's word for what happened before a complete investigation when the other one is dead and cannot speak for himself. One of the officers that night said that his stories didn't add up about what went down. The detective testifying yesterday when asked specifically did say that he didn't think Zimmerman had been truthful about it all.

Just because it has since been revealed that Martin had previously been in trouble, doesn't justify Zimmerman's actions that night. He did not know Martin, much less anything about him, assumed he was "on drugs or something" (his words), assumed he was up to no good because he was someone he didn't know and prejudged him on appearance, classed him by calling him a curse name (not a racial slur), and was upset when Martin tried to get away from him. Could it not be that Martin was afraid because someone he didn't know was following him and ran?

My guess is that his lawyer is know spinning stuff.

It looks like Zimmerman's lawyer is trying to clean up the image of Zimmerman in the press before the trial, if it comes to a trial. Now as one of the law professors at the U of MN Law School used to say, it is who can put on the best show for the fact finder in the case. It's basically theater controlled by the judge and the evidence code. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/mari-f...b_1441261.html

Teenager being followed by a man in a truck, then the teenager is being followed by a man on foot, think just about everyone would say what Travon would say,"Do you have a problem".

The new black panthers are they the opposite of the new KKK.

Zimmerman was overcharged by the State. Despite that fact and given the push by Sharpton and company supported by the liberal media Zimmerman will be found guilty. He will be found guilty because every black and liberal organization in the country wants to make an example of Zimmerman and they want to shut down the "stand your ground laws". Keep in mind the sharpton people was so eager for a fight they mischaracterized zimmerman as a white Hispanic . Now they have their cause white guys gunning down innocent black children. Its that simple and that complex as the expression went. Casey Anthony walked because the case was tried by the media and zimmerman will go to jail for the same reason. Apparently due process doesn't matter anymore. People just like
to watch train wrecks which explains why reality shows sell so well.

Martin's attorney said We are going to get justice so that this does notr ever happen again. Well he may want to move his campaign up to chciago and begin with the hundreds and hundreds of black kids killing each other.

But the kicker is we are going to hear about this case 24/7 for months upon months by every TV, radio station blg, newspaper, etc just as we had with Michael Jackson, Casey Anthony, Kim Kardashian, Whitney Houston, etc etc etc

Zimmerman has not been even tried yet. Let the facts come out and a judge and jury determine his guilt or innocence. That seems to be the point of most of the cries for justice. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/0...283.html?flv=1

I don't think it is a secret that charge high and plead lower is a common tactic. If this is litigated I'll buy a round.

George's father also said that George is an easy going guy who just turns the other cheek. Mark O'Mara must be seven feet tall because he looked a foot taller than George.

It looks like Judge Lester and Mark O'Mara are throwing Zimmerman to the wolves. How long is he going to be able to stay hidden without his Kel-Tec PF-9? He said in court he has no money, and the police are under no obligation to protect him anymore than they would anyone else. If he needs protection, he'll have to pay for it.

It will be quite a chore keeping things calm if the judge rules that there is not enough of a case against George Zimmerman to go to trial.

I'm talking plea deal here, not a word about not going to trial. The media would be cheated though.

If he looked a foot taller than George, O'Mara would appear to be 6'9" tall, not 7'0". In one form or another we taxpayers are paying for Zimmerman's protection, most of the costs of the trial and so on. Thank you mainstream media! If the killing of Martin is found justifiable perhaps Zimmerman will sue NBC and CNN for their misleading reporting and recoup what this is costing him and his family as well as the rest of us in so many ways. Hopefully far costlier fallout from this mess such as riots, other destruction to property and perhaps injuries and killings will be averted by holding this trial. O'Mara is an excellent lawyer and so far he is representing George well. I don't know anything about the judge but I do pray for an impartial and intelligent one.

I just reviewed the wikipedia article and found a section about George's character which backs up what his father has said about him. According to his family some of his relatives are black.
