An Angus hamburger on a fresh slightly sweet bun with slice of sweet onion and a slice of OHIO tomato and a little Hellmann's and an ear of corn about an hour out of an Ohio field with real butter and salt and pepper.

Not good for me.........but oh how yummy.

I can't decide whether the lye or the gelatinous consistency were the most riveting about preparing lutefisk which I had never heard of.

You really can't get the gelatinous consistency without soaking the dried cod in a lye solution for several days to rehydrate it. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Fraugoofy 08-21-2015 10:26 AM

Uff da.

A a kid, we used to have lutefisk every Christmas Eve. Once a year was enough for me. If I had to pick something Norwegian to eat exclusively for the rest of my life, it would be lefse.

Sounds great to me. We had that same dinner about a week ago and raved over it. The sweet corn and the tomato were from Publix but were pretty darn good.

Different kinds of pizza! You could put on all kinds of stuff on it to prevent various vitamin deficiencies.

I like to smoke BBQ in my smoker, so it's real hard to say that if I could ONLY eat one type of food for the rest of my life, the only food that I could eat every day is PIZZA. Every country that I visited, I always tried their pizza. Pizza is always good, even every day.

My wife just recently returned from visiting family in Maryland and she ate crabs and more crabs. Nothing better than Maryland crabs, if you like crab meat.
