So, she's not allowed to voice her opinion? What happened to the constitution?
I don't care for her, and I did not hear her remarks but last I heard she had that right to speak out. Even if it offends some. This ain't the 60's where you run around protesting everything that you disagree upon. If you don't like her, then don't buy her book. Ignore her and she will go away. People like that, eat up the attention and the controversy they create. Of course, it is your right to protest, but what a waste of energy for negligible gain. |

Where does the poster say "she's not allowed to voice her opinion?" If I were commenting about Coulters's remarks, I would know what they were. I guess because "This ain't the 60's" your not allowed to protest. must be a new law.
|
I don't know if her comment was truly meant as anti-Semitic or if I buy her subsequent explanation as legitimate or a walk-back. All I can say it's a good thing she didn't substitute "black" or "Muslim" for Jew, or there would be a BIG protest at Barnes and Noble, everyone from black lives matter to CAIR.

Here's the controversial tweet:
How many f---ing Jews do these people think there are in the United States? — Ann Coulter (@AnnCoulter)September 17, 2015 |
Quote:
Coulter is a strong support of Israel, and you KNOW that!!. If you had ANY sense (which by definition you don't) you would protest Obama and Wasserman Schultz for approving the suicidal Iran deal ... which basically signs Israel's death warrant longer term. The stupidity of the left is beyond description. |

Hilary said, "call off your f...dogs, Barack!" Of course, we expect that kind of language from liberals, right? I asked my neighborhood Jews what they thought of the comment, and they all just shrugged their shoulders. I think they are used to being the brunt of disparaging conversation. I wonder if Coulter meant it as a slur, or whether it was just another of her bombastic, spontaneous comments? Of course, I don't excuse public display of vulgarity, but it sure seems to be the norm when it comes to liberals today, ie. Biden's "this is a big f...ing deal" comment. Just saying. Coulter -- big f..ing deal. I've got better things to do, like clean my golf cart. I will display my concern for her comment by not purchasing her book. Not that I would anyway, but it sounds like I am doing my part in the protest. |

Still crude, but not anti-Semitic, especially since she is pro-Israel as well |

Hope they take pics at this thing and make them public as they can. |

Do something constructive and protest gangster rap. They know how to abuse the first amendment. But, it is their right. |

Thus, anyone who "protests" her appearance is self-identifying as a liberal idiot. Hopefully your photos get published in the Daily Sun so we can all see what a set of liberal idiots actually look like. In addition, we'll see a photo of people who do NOT have the COURAGE to protest something that matters to the longer term survival of Israel ... for example, radical Muslims or Sharia law supporters. Once you do that, I might begin to have respect for you. Right now, it's an EMPTY show designed to do one thing ... make your feeble selves feel better about yourself. You should actually be embarrassed !! Don't you see that? Anyway, after your "protest" go have a glass of Chardonnay and tell each other just how brave you were to confront a female author with a sharp wit and sharp mind. Actually, the publicity you'll generate will help her sell more books. :) |

I think you will find a lot more pro-Coulter at B&N than against her, so I would suggest that you hide your Obama bumper stickers.

On TOTV regular forum a discussion of how it is not for any liberals; many many comments on the political forum about the "injustice" toward democrats in The Villages, and I just noticed a vile, filthy attack on that toilet web site forum against anyone who is not progressive, speaking specifically of the dirty rotten, vile conservatives in The Villages. Sometimes it makes me happy that not many read this or that other filth site because the adults in the room understand reality. |

Sounds like a typical right wing nonsense. Your comment about the Iran deal is boarder line insanity. Iran has to know any nuclear attack against Israel will result Iran being wiped off the face of the earth. If you want to look at someone really stupid, look in the mirror. At least you have a following of one on this board, you should be so proud. Why do Republicans always have to go to the extreme? |

This deal puts billions in the bank for them to use and who do you think will be the recepient of all the terrorism in the area ? Always the same thing.....there are other things than deal or war. |
Also, I think her comment pales in comparison to Wasserman-Shultz, who thinks visiting a person who has a collection of historical holocaust items makes you a nazi

After all, if I go to a public library to get a book of poetry by Joyce Kilmer, and the library happens to have books and letters written by Gitmo detainees, does that make me a terrorist? The short answer is probably yes, if I were a republican candidate for president, and no if I were Hillary, Obama, or George Clooney. |

It does however exhibit the know-nothing attitude typical of the moronic liberal base ... who can be relied upon to believe the most outlandish bs routinely |

Iran will be relentless in its attacks on Israel ... the $150 billion we're releasing to them is, in terms of our economy, almost a trillion in an apples to apples sense. You also ignore the most OBVIOUS point ... Israel is totally opposed to the deal. But, you're changing the subject ... get back to Ann Coulter and tell us how "brave" and "courageous" you will be in protesting her right to speak. Burn your bra while you're at ... or maybe throw yourself in the path of her golf cart ?? Be brave you moron phony ... |

The last time I protested anything was the current wars in the middle east... Come on down and counter protest then we can all head to the square for a cold one! This is the current comment I took offense to Ann Coulter unleashes her nativist fury on Pope Francis and Catholics: |

In either case, this is about 100 times less egregious than offering condolences to the family of a victim beheaded by ISIS, then heading off 5 minutes later to play golf. |
