Sales Rep in TV for New Homes

Can anyone recommend a good experienced sales person for new homes in TV? Someone knowledgeable, caring and understanding and willing to take time with us...

Darlene D'Andrea put up with us for 5 years before we bought. I'd call that patient and understanding.

champion6 08-05-2011 09:03 PM

Brian Dees has all those qualities and more. We highly recommend him!

kofficer 08-05-2011 09:03 PM

We are very happy with Kevin Russell.

linandvin 08-05-2011 09:17 PM

Brian Dees!

gmcneill 08-05-2011 09:22 PM

Sharon Crenshaw. She is one of the top 2 overall sales associates. Low key, patient, listens well. NOT a relative of mine ;)

skyc6 08-05-2011 09:56 PM

Love working with Mike Joy. We highly recommend him!

eweissenbach 08-05-2011 10:22 PM

Tony Trussler fit's your profile. Very low key and pleasant, TV resident, British expatriate.

We visited August 2010 on our first Lifestyle Plan and our representative for the 5 days we were there was Mr. Tarrant Potter or "T" for short, he is a Floridian (born and bred) there, we also used him as our "Sales Rep." during our purchase. On a scale of 1 - 10 with 10 being the highest mark, I'd give him a 9, no one's perfect.

Philip Winkler 08-06-2011 07:17 AM

We recommend Mike Fink!

tainsley 08-06-2011 07:30 AM

June Brine and Karla Stange! From the first time we met them, felt like good friends. Found our home in just two days and it is everything we were looking for!

Gongy 08-06-2011 08:03 AM

We just closed last week in St. James and I highly suggest Brian Dees! He is excellent and very responsible. Not once did I have to wait for him to respond to all of our calls, emails or text messages. This is our 5th house that we built (1st one in TV) and I rank him the highest with our past experiences. You will not be dissapointed.

mgm4444 08-06-2011 08:06 AM

Sorry to break the news to y'all.....

but you're all wrong !! Best Sales Rep: RON DELK!!

vj1213 08-06-2011 08:16 AM

I am sorry to say, none of you had the best. It is Justin Wilson by far. He is truly the best of the best.

graciegirl 08-06-2011 08:17 AM

We have used Jim McLaughlin for both of our homes here.

His wife Patty is his sidekick and helper and is available for answering questions when he is with someone.

We like them VERY much.

clod 08-06-2011 08:46 AM

Coleen Wotring is also one of the best!

When you are about to buy, they all are good. My vote for "T" is he has worked with us for 4 years, knowing we aren't quite ready to buy. He emails me regularly to stay in touch. When we are down, he has always been available to take us to homes we can't see without a sales rep. He knows we will get there. If you want someone who is patient, understanding, knowledgeable and professional, he will suit you to a "T"! :icon_wink:

I must say I agree with you 100%!!! He certainly is all you described and actually a fun person to be with too, love his laugh!! :D

My Vote

I was very pleased with Bonnie Berman. Our friend who had her introduced us to her and was very pleased. She listened to both my wife and my desire and came up with the answer in very short time. The more specific you are, she can zero in and come up with the answer. You can ask anything about TV and she is quite knowledgeable. She is a very busy rep which is a good thing. But, she will get back to you. Should we do a List of Lists of the best sales reps.

Can't believe I forgot his laugh. Another thing he has been with them a while now. Plus being from Florida is another plus (IMHO). Our last two visits have been mostly golf and fun, so it has been a while since we've called on him. But, I got an email from him last month! Heck, after a couple of years I can't believe he didn't dump our contact information. That's why we like him, plus you are right, he is fun to be with. When you feel you are dealing with a professional, I like the feeling of having fun and working with what has become a friend! The whole process can be stressful, so why not find someone you can trust and make the experience a little more fun. That is what moving to TV is suppose to be. . . RIGHT? :pepper2:

swimdawg 08-06-2011 07:38 PM

Kudos to Crystal Adams and her sidekick Jim Wallace. She has gone above and beyond the call of duty. Last time, our plane was delayed from Buffalo....luggage went to Jacksonville. I was in touch with Crystal...& she made sure we had toothbrushes, breakfast foods and other essentials waiting for us. We finally arrived in TV around 11 PM and she sent her husband over at to take us to a place for dinner. She always has been very accommodating and a true pleasure to work with. My vote to goes to Crystal Adams!

raynan 08-06-2011 09:41 PM

Tony Trussler, no one better. Our neighbors can't believe how much more personal attention we received from him compared to the ones they got. 352-753-2270 or 1-800-346-4556 or Tony.Trussler@thevillages.com

How nice that you received so many posts with such great choices, as compared to so much negativity. I think this is a reflection as to what TV and TOTV is all about!

Yes, one of the strengths of Brian Dees is that he answers you promptly! Great service!

We worked with Gary Lazdowski. He went above and beyond in getiting us our home in TV.

mayBavillager 08-07-2011 04:38 PM

Thanks to everyone..... I surely have enough to choose from now.....

Casino 08-07-2011 04:55 PM

I must admit that every representative is great.
I fortunately work for 2 of the better ones - :posting:
John Stamper and Jim MInnelli....

wynnshanks 08-07-2011 05:10 PM

We came down in June for our first time. We met John Stamper who showed us new and pre-owned homes. He was Very knowledgable and helpful. We came back in July to buy, and John spent time patiently showing us everything we requested. He and his assistant Joann were the greatest. They helped us through the whole process....we come down on the 22nd of Aug to close. You can't go wrong with John. 352-350-4099
BTW He is young with a family and works very hard.

Schaumburger 08-07-2011 07:35 PM

From a wannabee's perspective...it is great to hear how many people have had positive experiences with their TV sales reps and how many different reps. were mentioned...

Hi!
As you can deduct by now, most everyone has had a good sales rep! You can choose or have one assigned. If you should want to change reps for any reason, they will accommodate your decision, but I don't think you will be displeased with anyone at all.

Do remember though, the sales reps are not brokers.
If you desire to investigate homes that are pre-owned, you will need an additional real estate agent for that.

You are in for a very enjoyable experience!

How do you choose, so many names? Our rep wasn't listed but we like her a lot.

Anyway where in CT are you from?

CarGuys 08-11-2011 09:56 PM

Phil McQuire

All agents work hard for their comissions. I think all of us feel good because of the one on one personal approach they take.

We all vote for our own agent. Our's was Phil McGuire. He hung in there with nothing but support for over four years!

I'm not sure you can pick? I believe on a visitation it may be luck of the draw.

I can tell you that when ever we toured a Village Spec Open house no matter who was on that day, even after we told them our Agent was Phil all agents were very helpful and always enhanced our knowledge of the Village life and home buying process.

Welcome enjoy the visit. We came for three days and extended it for a week!

Not accurate. Regarding pre-owned homes the villages also list and sells them and IMO I think they list and sell more than MLS. Pre-owned sellers can choose village, mls or fsbo. Village and mls can not show each others listings.

We recommend Ron Delk.
