Let's write a short story....
 
Continue the sentences before yours....write just one sentence and if you can, quote the post before yours so the story will be shown in its entirety. It's one of those days.... :D Here goes....

It was a dark, gloomy afternoon in Central Florida, most unusual for this time of year.

But lights were beginning to sparkle inside and outside of many homes in preparation for the holiday season, and folks were making plans..........
