Ferguson grand jury decision

How did hundreds of rioters come to the conclusion that justice was not the conclusion of the grand jury after the grand jury had considered all the evidence?

When the grand jury's decision was announced how did the rioters in the street, the ones with no TVs, the ones that had seen and heard ZERO evidence, how did 100% of them with that lack of information come to the conclusion they should burn, rob and loot?

Could the answer me as EZ as black and white?

This thread won't last long before it gets shut down.

That being said, the Ferguson people acted as expected. I'll bet 50% of the residents wanted this decision so they could riot and have an early black Friday. Lets see have much Al Sharpton stirs the pot.

Last night one of the news people said "obviously, the smell of marijuana is in the air"

ugotme 11-25-2014 08:16 AM

Because some - not all - of these people are there to create havoc.
I would venture that a lot do not know the "victim" and could care less about him. All they want is to riot and steal.

Some honestly believe there has been an injustice.

I certainly do not have the facts and can not make an intelligent decision from where I sit. However, the Grand Jury has made it's decision and we (they) must live by it.

The actions of the ignorant should not come as a surprise to anyone. Where is Sharpton and Jackson. Check that, if they were there, the situation would only escalate. Everyone should be able to protest PEACEFULLY, but it seems that the black community doesn't know how to do it. The irony really was last night when the President was calling for peace and basically blaming law enforcement for the problems, his supporters were breaking windows and starting fires. Now, the National Guard is in place. There needs to be a mandatory curfew put in place and the order that looters will be shot. Unfortunately, it seems that this is all that the "community" understands.

This goes to show America of the mentality of these lowly s**tmaggot thugs and what was done "in the memory of Michael Brown". What was accomplished with what was looted/burned/destroyed/vandalized? The mommies and daddies (yea, right) did an excellent job in raising their sweet little babies. Violence doesn't solve anything. Out of the 61 arrested last night, the youngest was 17 and the oldest was 66.

Things will be so different tonight with the Police/NG presence.

Looters are looters, no matter what color they might be. I say shoot em all, and put it on Utube.

Such a brilliant idea to announce the grand juries findings at 8:30 at night.

manaboutown 11-25-2014 08:53 AM

Some folks do not want to be confused by factual evidence. They have already made up their minds. Once again I blame the mainstream media and their untruthful propaganda for agitating the rioters who were well prepared to tear up the town as they did. Some rioters appeared to be celebrating an excuse to commit arson and loot.

We have been monitoring the situation since last night on two laptops since my wife agency may be called into there after two weeks of this; a few moments ago, a person that has been one of the most outspoken against the police was just on a local channel decrying that the police should have made more of a presence last night. Seriously? Now, get ready for it, he asked the more fortunate citizens to go onto the "I love Ferguson" websites and donate money to help rebuild. Just another of the underprivileged welfare receiving local trash needing a handout instead of really solving the problem.

The rioters are idiots and the media are idiots because they fan the fires

plrbr1120 11-25-2014 09:16 AM

You know....if the young man would have paid for the cigars instead of stealing them, we would have never heard of Ferguson, Mo.

JRichm369 11-25-2014 09:16 AM

There is an axiom in the media that more people will listen to an argument than to an intelligent discussion, that being said the media presence in Ferguson, MO assured me that here would be violent demonstrations. Whether they were in celebration of an indictment or in protest of no charges there would be something for the media.

While I do not always agree with the police, I would not want to live in a world with out them

First of all, the rioters did not come to a conclusion because by saying that, you give them credit for the ability to think rationally. They are a mob, and reacting emotionally.

Second, the police were too lenient IMHO in that numerous buildings were burned down ...ie they failed to protect.

I also think that if a investigative agency could get past the PC, they would find the riots were organized by someone or a group of like minded lefties. Most likely the usual suspects including the America-haters who basically want to burn the system down and start over.

Someone who lost property in the riots should sue the Rev Al while they're at it ... for incitement.

I was watching last night as the decision was read and the detail that was given regarding the event. Yet, one news person reported that she believed that the grand jury got it wrong due to the "preponderance of of evidence" showing that excessive force was used against Michael Brown. I thought it was extremely irresponsible of her to present media reports and opinions as evidence and fact. The grand jury's decision was based on facts, not emotion and pressure from the public or political leaders.
